That Place - Sheffield

Food on cold plate, Sausage undercooked and tasteless, Bacon undercooked, Potato Cake very under cooked. Any warm food put onto a cold plate will always end up cold and not fit to eat. Vanilla Latte was perfect. Price in Café different than their website: example That Place Breakfast on website £7.00, In the Café £10.00

This is without doubt the best place for lunch in Sheffield! The choice of dishes is amazing I had “bhaji burrito” which was delicious, followed by white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and an excellent cup of coffee, all served by very friendly staff. I cannot recommend That Place more highly and I can’t wait to go again ….soon !

Went for brunch on Thursday with my daughter and 21 month old granddaughter. The service was great, the food was amazing and at a great price. It was empty when we went just before 11.30 but soon got busy just after 12. Looking forward to going again

I visited ‘That Place’ on Tuesday 21/3 having tried several times before on recommendations from friends but it was always busy…. I can see why ! Absolutely amazing food and fantastic customer service and care. I loved it so much that I have visited three further times this week and have brought family and friends along too. I live 20 miles away but it’s well worth the trip. I feel compelled to write a review not only to sing the praises of such a great place ‘That place’ but to comment on the review left by ‘Josh A’ . I was absolutely gobsmacked at the review. I believe I was actually present when these ladies were there ordering their veggie breakfasts and I heard nothing but politeness from the lady serving them. Thy decided to change their order as it was just being served to them! Some people just want the world and feel entitled and that’s what this review demonstrates. Yes everyone is entitled to their option but I feel they need addressing when it’s done in this way when I witnessed nothing but politeness from the staff. It’s their livelihood at the end of the day . The only thing vile was this lady’s review! Please do not be swayed by this review , the only thing wrong with ‘That place’ is the price …. They don’t charge enough for the quality and service they provide , especially at this time when everything is going up in price. Well done ‘ That Place ‘ my new favourite place to eat .

Fabulous food, different from usual cafe fare, but you can also have stuff like eggs on toast. Very friendly staff and happy to change meals if you want
