nice pub. friendly staff and good business. was joined by friends tonight and enjoyed the banter. also I should say that eating here is excellent quality - although portions are much too big for my little mouth! worth a visit. View all feedback.

Extremely expensive for where it is. Food isn't priced bad. Go round the corner to the Globe for drinks. And the pub quiz gives a £10 tab to the winner that gets you 2 pints. Compared to similar places in the city it's not really worth the trip View all feedback.
Simply an amazing delicious bark meat Sunday dinner....will come back...why the effort to cook at home...as a single weep always a bit intrepid about going in a pub in my own eating....but that was so secret.
Had our Christmas lunch, food was good and the staff very attentive could not fault the place , always a pleasure to visit
Always friendly and welcoming. Brilliant to have a good pub in the city centre. Quiz and bingo on Mondays is good. Free chips too
