best meal I had in Sheffield with friendly fast service. had the quiche that was tasty, and the choice of 3 funky salads that were right at home in the baumhugger, hipster corner of the world (vancouver), that I currently in. they hear the cakes are great, something to be happy for the next time. the cozy brick building has really been happy. The staff knew we had children with us as we asked if they had a children's menu. After asking twice where our food was, it arrived after a one hour wait. We were all very hungry, and am sure the food was ok, but after such a long wait and we really could have eaten anything. Not acceptable. I got great food, tho a friend told me it depends on what you get. Service was much quicker than expected and even tho the prices can be seen as high it's fairly average for Sheffield. The place itself is really cool because it feels both retro and modern at the same time.
A super friendly welcome awaits, followed by good food and even better coffee.
There are more customers on weekends, so it takes about 20 minutes to get a seat. Delicious lunch, friendly waiters.
Very nicely located, it's nice to sit outside. Central but quiet. Inside it goes like this. Food very good, but not cheap either. Very good quality and beautifully prepared. Coffee was great. However, different. One day, excellent, the next day very good, but not as good as the day before.
The vegetarian breakfast was delicious! The iced latte was perfect with the brown sugar syrup, and the hand-brewed coffee was excellent. The service was great all around, and the outdoor seating was a lot of fun.
