Visit here on Wednesday to dinner with my parents and some family friends for a late birthday meal. we reserved a table by phone, only to be sure, open them for lunch and then open again at 18 o'clock. the place has not changed since I last visited 10 years! very old-fashioned/70 style space, but very well maintained and very clean and neat. we had a few beers at the bar, ordered our food from the a la carte menu and chose our wines. we have ordered for starters; Knock mushrooms, calamari, prawns and the scampi. all our starters were great. fresh food and clean dishes returned to the kitchen. for the netzen we have ordered; the herr buckingham fillet steak (medium/rare,) chicken strogonoff, I think the lemon sole, and I think the fillet steak diane, and another fillet steak (medium.) that all was delivered directly from the kitchen, silver service style in its finest. all dishes came with roasted potatoes, carrots and flowered cheese. the filetsteak came with fried wobble, grilled tomato and grilled mushrooms. amazing. The best steak I've had for years was off! we had a few bottles of rioja gran reserva and a few bottles of white wine. will be safe again. steaks were about £23 would pay £30 every day! their menus are online as the phone number to book. First-class equipment, eating, service can not fail and they are always polite and helpful. would recommend it anyway
