Tonight I had the home made chicken curry and chip, I asked for it to be made hotter, which the lady serving said it was hot, I said I’d take my chances, she came back saying it was going to be hot, it was warm but bloody lovely. Sorry can’t add a photo as it didn’t last long enough. Will definitely ask for that again View all feedback.

Ordered off Uber eats yesterday fish chips and peas the chips weren't cooked fish batter was glued to the paper peas well didn't get to try lot went in the bin never again. I can't believe this it's usually top nosh from here I pop in after bingo with my friend but not when you want it delivered ??? absolute lot went in bin no way of contacting them waste of £16 View all feedback.
Really disappointed with the chicken kebab, half the size as it usually is, and hardly any chicken in it
Found this chippy was open for takeaway during current situation, all social distancing well managed. Portions are huge, we shared a large cod and chips. Great food, great service. Would not consider returning to previous favourite Townend, new name of Battered Cod.
This was my first time having lunch here and oh my goodness, the portions were large and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning.

Don't know why food quality going down,worse day by day, itmes missing, I go this chippy from the ages but now its going down no good services, no good quality, really missing that tall smart guy with spiky hair, he almays bears smile, almost perfect in everything, quick service with nice food but now nothing to say.. disappointed Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
