A recent visit to a local pub reveals troubling service issues that overshadow its scenic views and reasonable prices. Guests express frustration over organizational lapses, including a chaotic private room experience where uninvited patrons intruded, and a DJ failed to accommodate song requests. Customers also reported being sold out-of-date beer and receiving rude treatment from staff, with management remaining unresponsive to complaints. Even basic considerations like parking and drink service have drawn ire, leaving patrons feeling undervalued. Despite its picturesque setting, the establishment's customer relations leave much to be desired, prompting many to seek alternatives.
Booked a (private room) for my dsughters 30th and paid for there house DJ was informed st the time off booking we couldn’t take our own buffet/food in.. on arrival we were asked if we wanted to provide our own food as they had chef problems(bit lste now) showed to our (private room)apparently it was a private end off the pub that wasn’t cordoned off or signed as private so during the night we had joe public dancing in our(private area) the dj we paid for never played any of our requests . on complaining the week after to the manager/live in lodger Lewis were we told because we didn’t complain on the night (we didn’t as didn’t want a scene or to spoil my daughters big day he wasnt gonna help us then he became mr elusive couldn get him on the phone or in person he gave me an email and phone number of the owner no response from him either… all in all never ever will i put my money over there bar again terrible customer relations beware……,
We was sold out of date bottles of beer. When we took them back to ask for some new bottles, the bar manager said they are legally allowed to sell us out of date beer??? Did not swap them and was very rude!
Nice food, reasonably cheap drinks, good view from inside over the lake and nice outdoor seating area. Good, standard pub. Has onsite parking, not many spaces but has never been full when I have been.
Very friendly personnel and the location. It is really good, as well as to visit this restaurant. The lake's entrance is really fajny.
The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and provides excellent service.
