Ceres Cafe - Sheffield

We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us the option to choose from several tables since we arrived early. The menu had a good selection with some vegetarian and vegan options. The food was delicious and the service was prompt. Also, we found it to be great value for the quality of food and service.

Asked to be seated away from family groups as they had place our two person table between two families and the rest of the place was empty. Cafe style give, but the food was exquisit and deserved a slight more ambience (candles on tables etc would have been lovely). Overall, service, food and experience was great, only feedback would be sectioning an area for families/ casual dining vs romantic couples for a good experience for all. Good value for money. Wonderful service and we both enjoyed our meal on Saturday evening. Only concern was that there were very few people in all evening which detracts from the ambience. A shame as it deserves to be full and we would certainly recommend.

Very enjoyable 'bistro ' food in a lovely setting. We 'll definitely visit again.

Was disappointed, had to wait quite some time for our meal, and not happy with the stairs to the seating. The meal was good and very tasty though small portions. The staff were pleasant and helpful and patient, happy to accommodate our alterations to the desert. Felt the price reflected the meal, could do with more choices. Shame there is no parking, made us late for our booking.
