I made a reservation online and received a confirmation email, but when we arrived, our booking was not found. However, we were still able to get a table. I ordered a chicken dish that I thought would be breast meat, but it turned out to be on the bone - my mistake for not checking. One piece was good, but the other was so tough that I couldn't separate it from the bone. For dessert, I ordered an Eton Mess, which was essentially a bowl of yogurt with pieces of meringue. The service was good, but the quality of the food was lacking.

The restaurant was very cold, which was the main issue. We experienced a long wait for our food even though it wasn't very busy. Our order was also incorrect, resulting in a 45-minute wait. Despite being offered free coffee as an apology, it was never delivered.

My daughter and I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant, with excellent service. The staff were all very friendly. We look forward to coming back in the new year.

Easily disappointing eating this visit. My confit duck skin should have been crispy and my fondant chocolate had no gooey funds. However, our waitress was very apologetic and corrected the situation with another pitt I was not accused of. We still liked it.
