The restaurant was not too expensive and the food was high quality, although the menu was not very extensive. I was disappointed that I couldn't get the curry I had been craving.
What can I say but totally vile. I feel totally sorry for the serving staff as they are obviously embarrassed by the kitchen. Myself and some colleagues are staying at the hotel ,as in the hospital industry myself I do try and understand. It took an hour for the starters to arrive , mmm not great , then when the mains arrived , that is when the true extent of the lack of experience in the Kitchen , prawns raw in the pasta, cold mash potato , well done steak , arrived rare , side dishes arrived 20 mins after dishes served and 1 did not get their sausage and mash for a further 30 mins ,congealed gravy ... lovely . The duty manager looked stressed and close to tears, offered us a complimentary pudding but we did not want to risk it!! We all had a drink and deciding whether we should order a dominos !! This a lovely hotel but needs to sort its dining out pronto as after a long day you just want to chill and have a good meal.
