Well worth the visit. Great food and service. There is always a daily special accompanied by a soup or salad. Portions and price are also reasonable. You may also want to take a couple of their gigantic and elicits muffins along with you for later. View all feedback.

Went searching for a breakfast place and discovered the Capital Diner courtesy of Yelp :).
An early morning breakfast in our corner of downtown Ottawa was scarce Capital Diner, however, opened at 6am weekdays and 7am on weekends.
The place has a large panel blackboard with a hand drawn log cabin advertising that the have real maple syrup.
I pass through Shawville many times during the summer to head to the cottage. For the time we were hungry passing by and spotter the Cafe. Well I am not disappointed. Great friendly customer service and the food was so delicious and tasted so fresh. I will eat hear again for sure. My wife also agrees. She said it was super delicious. Thank you for meal!
I couldn't possibly say enough good things about the Café! Delicious food, and friendly staff! Eat at Café 349 and you won't be left disappointed!
