I had read reviews and it sounded exactly what we were looking for....NOT! we waited for us to sit on an incessant time for an empty restaurant. the device has or has tables and was only occupied. the first server was too busy for us, so a woman came out of the kitchen and without a friendly greeting we were asked if we had reservations - no, we did not; that was a flu for the owner(da and then. no sign that they were too busy to take a place. we sat in an empty restaurant next to the washrooms. I asked if we could have another table. we ordered panini and a soft drink. when eating finally appeared (only one other table arrived) it was presented on dark roggen without mentioning on the menu) my friend bratbeef, I think, was enough while I poured the roasted veg and cheese panini with just a few threads cheap rubbed cheese and a thin layer mixed veg extreme. another table came when we were done and we found that we were ignored as our server was too busy to chat on the new table. we had to draw their attention to bringing us the bill, as our tellers were sitting on the table. obviously they are too busy for them if they are not a native. we are disappointed and hungry. to add to the poor atmosphere, there was absolutely no music and a bad work of art on the walls. I recommend going elsewhere when a visitor in shawville

We came to lunch yesterday after a local event. we waited hours and minutes for sandwiches and suppe. we have never been told, waited or given an apology. in th... read more We came to lunch yesterday after a local event. we waited hours and minutes for sandwiches and suppe. we have never been told, waited or given an apology. in that we had to ask for water, although our waitress said she would get us something at the beginning. when the food arrived, the waitress of the wrong ordering served us a non-glue-free package with another filling! In this day and age a gluten-free gönner a non-glue-free food and then say nothing! we were so hungry at this point we just ate it and left it. no offer of an apology, discount, free dessert- nothing! you will get better service at tim hortons!
