My family of 5 visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening. We are new to the area and were looking for a local spot to frequent. Unfortunately, this was the only restaurant open that day. Great breakfast. Good value for your money. Good service. Been multiple times, never a disappointment.
Had a BLT and Shawville Chips (home made potato chips). Edible, but not great. The staff was friendly. $11.00 was too much for a BLT, greasy chips and a drink! The influx of cottager children running everywhere did not help the atmosphere either.

Hursty's bar and grill is a another restaurant located on the main drag shawville Quebec. I grown up around this restaurant and must say the service and food has deteriorated over the years. Service is average, normally friendly but far from something I would write home about. the restaurant is old and warn and could use a face lift. The food is hit or miss, sometimes I get a great burger and sometimes I get a tasteless pile of what tastes like pre-prepared food. It is pricey for what it is and I would recommend other establishments before I recommend here.
The food was very greasy and the presentation isn't great (chicken Cesar wrap, Hamburger Platter). Atmosphere is dull, it seems so dark in there. It needs updating and a good cleaning. Staff doesn't seem happy to be there either.
