Papa Murphy 's Take 'n ' Bake Pizza

Some of the best pizza I've ever had. That was reasonable.

Great pizza just honestly not a huge fan of the fact that you have to go home and cook it. I get that's the whole point of it, other than that though the pizza was delicious!

Great food. I'm picky about pizza but this is good stuff.

Although I did not have a problem with the service or the people. I feel like I'm overpaying for the pizza since the other pizza places in the area cook it for you. This place is more expensive than the places that cook.

BUYER BEWARE. This location is in desperate need for improvement. Employees lack any professionalism customer care/service. The management is nonexistent. The supposed Shift Manager likes to talk amongst the other employees to disparage the customer right in front of the customer. I can understand having an off day , or not really enjoying monotonous work in the fast food industry. I 've been there, done that. However I appreciated the life experiences the work ethic it offered me. I understand what it 's like being on the other side of the counter and would never give anyone employees, or otherwise, a hard time. I 've always treated others how I would want to be treated. First, I call Papa Murphy 's in Shawnee Kansas about 4:30pm and I order 2 pizzas. The male employee who answered the phone takes my order, and tells me that the pizzas will be ready in about 20 minutes. Okay. Driving from Desoto to Shawnee takes about 20 to 25 minutes. I leave my place in Desoto about 5 minutes later. I get the Papa Murphy 's. I walk in, they the ask usual question, if I ordered online of called in? I let them know that I was a call in gave them my name. No sooner when I gave them my name, that things turned. They tell me that my order wasn 't ready yet they 're still working on it. Their attitude then changed from pleasant welcoming to snide derisive. As if my coming in to pick up the pizza I ordered was interfering with their work or their plans . I courteously respond: Ok take your time, I can wait. I then proceeded to the checkout counter, pay for the order. I ask the Manager , whom I paying order to, if they participate in military discounts. Scoffing, the male employee says no. I said ok, that 's fine, and proceeded to pay. I walk to the bench to sit down, and as I 'm walking I notice the same person talking about me mockingly to the other employees. I only wait about two minutes when my order is complete I leave. AVOID at all cost the Papa Murphy 's in Shawnee Kansas. There are others in the area with far better service. And if you 've served in the military, don 't ask if this Papa Murphy 's offer military discount. It 's not worth it.
