We drive 30 minutes to dine here because it's absolutely fantastic! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The sushi is prepared with the freshest ingredients, and we usually sit right in front of the sushi counter and grill—there’s never a hint of a fishy smell, which speaks to its freshness. I ordered the hibachi shrimp and filet mignon. The fried rice seemed a bit undercooked and lacked flavor. While the steak and shrimp were cooked properly, they were overly seasoned for my preference. The vegetables were overcooked as well. The portion sizes were generous, but I still felt it wasn’t worth the price. You are not going to find better hibachi in Jacksonville. They don’t cook in front of you but that reflects in the price as it is not as expensive without the show. The panko tempura is my favorite sushi roll and everything is fresh and always delicious.
My family and I visited Hana Yori on a Friday night. I would recommend making a reservation, they get busy! The food was excellent, I ordered filet mignon and shrimp with fried rice. The meal came with soup, salad, and veggies. The food is brought to the table (not cooked in front of you). The filet was tender and cooked to perfection. The rest of the food had great flavor and everything came out hot. Would highly recommend Hana Yori!
Friends told us to meet them at a small strip center. The Asian food was delicious. The sushi was amazing. This place has become a regular.
This is the second time we have come to Jacksonville Because we had to visit the Mayo. We live in Gulf Shores,AL, and eat great seafood all the time. We love the shrimp hibachi here! Our favorite!
