We ordered a sandwich called “The Rachel,” which consists of pastrami on rye with Swiss cheese, slaw, and Thousand Island dressing. We also got one side, which was couscous mac and cheese. For the other order, we chose the pulled pork plate, accompanied by two sides: Brussels sprout slaw and French fries. I was told The Rachel was fantastic, and the slaw on it was excellent. The couscous side could have used a bit more flavor and/or cheese, but it was still quite good. The pulled pork was tasty, but it seemed to lack barbecue sauce, and we weren’t given any on the side. Personally, I enjoyed it as I prefer not to have pulled pork that is too wet or sloppy; however, a bit of BBQ flavor would have been nice. The pork chunks were substantial, which was great. The Brussels sprout slaw was also good, featuring raisins and shredded Brussels sprouts without being overly wet. The French fries were tasty, but I would have liked a larger portion instead of just a handful! The pricing is reasonable and doesn’t feel overpriced like many other restaurants in the area, which was a pleasant surprise. There were no other diners present, so eating there was an option, but we noticed that the few tables available were dirty and needed a thorough cleaning, as did the exit door. I would have rated this place five stars if there had been barbecue sauce (rather than just a cup of ketchup) served with the pork, and if the tables and exit door had been cleaned properly. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will definitely return. We wish this business success, as it seems to be a hidden gem for takeout.

Ordered the beef brisket plate and smoked chicken wings for dinner. Absolutely delicious. The brisket was so juicy and flavorful. Couscous mac n cheese and brussel slaw as sides, amazing. Loved that the brisket was put on top of the pickles and onions, all the juices from the brisket added extra flavor to the pickles and onions. Being greedy I had also ordered the smoked chicken wings. They were done to perfection, nice crunch to them, so flavorful.Neither the wings nor the brisket needed any additional sauce, but the bbq sauce that came with was so good. Loved the tang in it. I drank the remaining sauce, that's how good it was. Last but not least, corn bread.....I heated it up and threw some butter and honey on it.....highly recommend this place.
