In the town where little is left of the French era, restaurants like these help to preserve the architecture. The food was good, specially the chinese soups. Plenty of veg choices too and very reasonable. If in Chandannagar.....do dine here

Doesn't dig a hole in the pocket... Cost for 2 is around 700. Don't opt for authentic chinese dishes, like Wontons, Dimsums, etc mentioned in the menu coz most of them are not available and even the ones they serve like lungfung soup is not quite upto the mark. However the common ones are pretty upto the mark, with good service. Ambience is good, plus the 1st floor is available for party reservations.
