Good value for money We were at the end of the season. It was the last restaurant open. In France, the owner would have benefited from it. Here, the manager was very attentive, the waiters efficient, polite and attentive. I think many restaurants could follow suit.

We ate there three times during our two stays in Loutro because it was simply the most popular restaurant. Were not disappointed, the food was very good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Service attitude let’s it down. We have returned here regularly over several years as it is such a lovely location. The food is ok But the waiting staff! just so miserable and unwelcoming! All other restaurants in Crete that we return to are so happy to see us again and are friendly and lovely. Not here. These guys couldn’t care less. The same waiters every year, they clearly recognise us and show their usual level of friendliness ie zero. We’ll not be going again. Shame as it really doesn’t take a lot to make people feel welcome. Very good tavern on the seafront, the food is excellent and the staff very friendly. Nothing to complain about, really recommended Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
