I received a really nice welcome here. The head of the house explained all the daily specials to me. I was actually planning on eating something else, but then I was convinced by the beef with mushrooms and garlic, one of the daily specials. It was the best decision I could have made. We have been here in Crete for over three months now but I have never had such delicious beef. Super tender, melted in your mouth, extremely flavorful with mushrooms and garlic. In addition to the daily specials, the menu offers a wide range of Greek dishes. Since the restaurant has a location with more views and you can sit inside and outside, the prices are rather cheap for this good location. The drinks are also relatively cheap. The Mythos beer was served with frozen glasses, as it should be. Apparently the boss is Greek and his wife is German. The two young men in service are probably the two sons and speak German as their native language. Everyone was super nice and very committed and almost ran when more guests came into the restaurant. Several times the staff put tables together when larger groups came who wanted to sit together. Since the daily specials were obviously freshly cooked, I was served my beef dish within a few minutes. This surprised me very much. The fries were also surprisingly crispy and tasty for Greece. At another table I saw guests choosing a fresh fish from the ice and it being carried into the kitchen to be freshly prepared for the guests. Myth glasses frozen. As a free dessert I received a small cake and a small carafe of raki. The restaurant has a large free parking lot directly across the street. I felt absolutely comfortable here, it tasted really good, I absolutely recommend it. On the second visit we had lamb and bifteki, which were also very good. The food is delicious! Both breakfast and lunch/dinner. The staff is very friendly and you can have a nice chat with the staff. The atmosphere is also very nice, no matter what time of day it is. Highly recommended. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
