What MN dislikes about Cafe Batar:
We drove 2 hours to have lunch only to be told they were booked for the day because of reservations. We were told it was posted on Facebook and we do not have Facebook. I don’t remember ever having to have reservations when Barb was here. I am not taking away from the place because it is a lovely place but how would you feel driving 2 hours only to be told “you should have made a reservation” when we had no idea that... Cafe Batar is simply fantastic! I can't think of a better place that is both quiet and clean—it's definitely worth stopping by for a nice lunch. I used to live nearby, and we loved it so much that we even named a horse after it, calling it our Batar!
