Natalie was my server. Thank you from the heavens above that this woman came into my life for just the briefest of moments. At worst, she was the best server I've ever had, at best she changed my life in ways that I am just not smart enough to articulate. I ordered the most simple of items...fries and naked wings. Both were tasty and I ate them happily. It was the service however, that made my experience a flash-bulb... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Village Pub Sewell:
Do the burgers not come with fries? The burgers are $15 and now they have to pay $6 if they want to add fries? A total of $21 for a burger with fries? Absurd! It's a bar. I will now visit other bars instead. View all feedback.
The bartender gave us incorrect change when we paid with a hundred-dollar bill. She claimed it was a mistake, but the lack of attentiveness and care was evident as she was engrossed in conversation with coworkers for the duration of our visit. This decline in service has led to a negative experience, especially considering that we used to enjoy dining at this establishment. It is crucial for the restaurant to hire more competent bartenders who prioritize customer satisfaction.
The all-you-can-eat crab special on Tuesday was fantastic. It also included delicious crab fries. The service was quick and excellent.
This restaurant has the vibe of a chain establishment but offers menu items similar to those found at a local mom and pop shop. The food is mainly pub-style, ideal for lunch or a light dinner, with a few unique menu options for those feeling adventurous. They have a good selection of craft beers from local and regional breweries, as well as a stocked bar with reasonably priced drinks. The atmosphere is a bit kitschy, with random decor on the walls and sports memorabilia that give off a forced, chain-like feel. However, the live talent often found on the stage adds some charm. Overall, it comes across as a sports bar trying too hard to appear like a cozy pub, especially with the air horn that goes off during live Flyers games. It can get noisy and lively, making it a good spot to enjoy a beer and watch a game. The food is standard pub fare, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly, efficient, and attentive, even during busy times. While it may not be as genuine as it first appears, if you're looking for a hometown pub atmosphere, this place hits the mark. Just don't expect too much authenticity beyond the surface.
Recently went here and it’s pretty cool! Lot of meat options on the menu. Everyone loved their food which was fun and good. I got the pretzel bites as an appetizer since I didn’t feel like eating much. Seating was good but tables can be a little tight. More of a sports bar type of vibe.
We recently tried this restaurant for the first time! We were pleasantly surprised by how yummy all our food was! The menu is not super extensive but has a great selection of burgers and bar fare, which was perfect for us! We had four adult meals and two kids meals and everyone was very happy with their meal. All of the staff was pleasant and helpful and we would definitely go back again! Edit: We've gone here several times over the past 4 years and still rate this 5 stars! The food is always fresh and delicious!
