The store is small but well stocked and coming from the lower 48...the... read more I was there in June 2023 and stopped by this grocery store to fill up our Airbnb pantry. The store is small but well stocked and coming from the lower 48...the prices were very reasonable considering most items are flown in. The cashiers were also friendly.

They had great prices and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. There's also a sandwich shop in the back that has fried chicken macaroni and a bakery. While the store is somewhat dated, it is gen... read more This Safeway is just what you would expect. The parking lot has numerous potholes and is in urgent need of repairs. While the store is somewhat dated, it is generally kept clean. However, the prices are alarmingly high. Its location along a major highway provides easy access to nearby towns and ports.

It was a bit nerve-wracking to order a wedding cake without tasting it first or having any local recommendations. We ordered a small cake and cupcakes for our elopement party from Safeway. The customer service was excellent; they ensured we got exactly what we wanted! Everything tasted delicious and looked fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cake frosting. Our guests also had wonderful things to say about the dessert!
