I've been a regular at Cleggy's for several years, but unfortunately, I've noticed a decline in quality. The chicken often comes out dry and doesn’t look very appealing. On my most recent visit, I even heard others comment on the 'slimy' chicken. When you call, the response is usually just a "yes" or "hello", leaving you unsure if you’ve reached the right number. Ordered online and got some HSP packs. very happy with eating, was so delicious and definitiw met that require Friday night. thanks to the team of cleggy’s
Friendly staff and good service. An interesting thing they offer on their menu, is when you order chicken you can choose between having a piece with the bone in or a thigh piece (no bone) for about $1 extra.I ordered myself some chicken, chips and corn jack. The chips were crunchy and fresh, the chicken was juicy and tender but quite light on the batter and the corn jack was decent. My only gripe is for the cost the quantity you get isn't so great, particularly in regard to the chips.
Absolutely BRILLIANT service. The lady who served us (sadly didn’t get her name, but visited 13 03 2021 at 2:52pm) was so friendly; she asked us how our day was stressful, because we’ve been moving house, she gave us extra free chips and had the order ready for us in under 15 minutes (and we had a BIG order)! The food was absolutely delicious and I definitely recommend the place for anybody who wants GOOD fried chicken and chips!

HYGIENE!!!!!I will refused to wait half and hour for medium chips and then seeing none of them have aprons no masks no gloves and no hair nets. I saw a girl wipe her nose and then grabbed a piece of chicken by her hands and gave it to someone. USE TONGS!!!! I highly recommend not going here its greasy and long waiting service is just not worth it.
