Both the turkey club and pulled pork sandwiches were delicious, each featuring a unique twist like cranberry mayo that deserved a spot on the menu. The fries were okay, though a bit chewy and not as crisp as expected for shoestring style. For dessert, the orange cake was surprisingly light on orange flavor but still enjoyable—warm, gooey, and served with a generous scoop of ice cream. The portion was very large, easily enough for two people. The staff were courteous and accommodating, and the spacious dining area had a simple, unpretentious atmosphere. Overall, Holston's Kitchen may not impress with perfect execution or subtle details, but it’s a solid choice for anyone craving tasty, straightforward American food.
First time visiting Holston's Kitchen and we absolutely loved it! The spinach and artichoke dip was fantastic—we polished off the entire bread bowl. We ordered the 12 oz ribeye and fried shrimp. Both were delicious, though my husband wishes the steak was a bit larger than 12 oz. The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the sides fell short. The baked potato was slightly burnt but still too firm, the rice pilaf was undercooked, and the broccoli was cold and quite hard—I prefer mine steamed until tender. The atmosphere and service were excellent. We’ll definitely be back!
