I’m really disappointed! They were closed for renovations! I tried calling to confirm our 5 PM reservation starting at 2 PM, but all I got was a busy signal. After driving for an hour, I discovered they were closed. This is unacceptable. First, Groupon should have informed me. Second, the bistro should have a recorded message on their phone line indicating their closure! Lastly, how is it possible that I could still make a reservation on OpenTable for a restaurant that is not open?!
After making reservations for a Friday night and receiving reminders the day before to confirm our attendance, we were disappointed to receive a cancellation message from the restaurant on the day of our reservation. They had decided to close for renovations that day, which felt like a last-minute decision that disregarded the guests who had planned to dine there. Their lack of consideration for my wife and me sent a clear message: they aren’t interested in serving customers and would rather close unexpectedly than honor their commitments. We won’t be returning, as this experience has turned us off completely. If you do decide to go, I hope they are open for you. Enjoy your meal!
I purchased a Groupon and made a reservation at B stro 109, only to arrive and find the restaurant closed, with a sign indicating it was shut for all of December. There was no notice of this on their website, and I was able to buy the Groupon and book a reservation online. I was extremely disappointed.
The restaurant was closed for renovations even though we had a reservation. We took and Uber there and back with no dinner. The restaurant should have notified anyone with reservations. In addition, I had purchased a Groupon for dinner for 2 which I now have to work on for reimbursement. Very disappointed in how this restaurant is managed and handled this. It put a damper on our vacation.
We found this place because of Groupon and absolutely loved it! friday and saturday nights is live music at the baby grand piano!! so awesome! with the groupon we did not get to choose our meal... it was a set meal already decided and that part was the only downside. i can’t wait to go back and choose something else from the menu. service was excellent. staff was personable and helpful. place was a cozy. little hole in the wall. what a gem!! we can’t wait to go back!
