We've been to Rawley's a few times this summer as a cycling destination for lunch. The patio is beautiful, overlooking the water. Lunches have been great and the atmosphere is very nice. Would recommend it. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rawley Resort's Lighthouse 45 Restaurant:
Family birthday dinner was not up to par. Our experience in the past has always been good. I don't know if it was a kitchen staffing problem or just not organized after being closed for 2 weeks, but the food was not the best or even that good. Some of us had the steak. I could get a better cut of meat at No Frills. Should not need a chainsaw to cut a rare steak. The potatoes were so dry they crumbled with a fork. Def... View all feedback.
Went there for lunch to check it out before considering a stay. Seemed like the host had to be talked in to letting us in despite the phone assurance we were welcome. We were seated and ordered a wrap. Option was salad (Caesar or citrus)...or fries. We opted for salad. Funny thing was the bill came and we were charged extra for the salad. No explanation given. The wrap was lettuce and the salad was actually quite soggy. My wife didn’t eat hers. I think his name is Dan and he wanted nothing to do with us when questioned. Sad for a hospitality business. Easy decision now…not going there!
The dining at Rawley is excellent beautifully presented and delicious. All seats in restaurant and on patio have a beautiful view also.
Had two breakfasts and three dinners here during our stay at Rawley Resort. This is probably the nicest restaurant in the area. Food was creatively prepared and delicious. Perhaps slow coming out of the kitchen but we understand it was short-staffed and kudos for providing...tasty meals to a full house regardless.
We stayed at the resort nights and had wonderful dinners and a great breakfast. Favourites : Appetizers: Smoked Olives and Grilled Calamari; Would include the taste of the feta and roasted tomatoes, as taste was great but next time would ask that they...do the crushing and mixing in the kitchen to avoid potential mini tomato explosions Mains: Rack of Lamb and Ribeye special were both amazing and others and while I didn't have it, the others at the table loved the pesto Linguini. Dessert: Must have the Earl Grey Creme Brule!!! Breakfast was also great- Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon was perfect, and the Banana Bread French toast is out of this world! Staff were excellent and engaging. We were lucky to have Nate take care of us for both dinners and our breakfast server was similarly fantastic. Guest engagement is a lost art too often in dining and these staff were completely the right types to provide a great experience. This is without a doubt a restaurant that would be great anywhere it was located, and that it's on this picturesque property adds to the experience.
We stayed at the resort for a weekend and had brunchs and dinners delivered to our room. The food was delicious and the presentation was great. All of the food arrived fresh and hot. Even with the elevator out of service they managed to serve...us hot eggs and toast after carrying it up two flights of stairs! Staff went above and beyond. Would highly recommend!
