This is a fantastic spot to escape London for a Mother's Day Sunday lunch. The staff was very friendly over the phone and accommodating when we arrived a bit late for our reservation. The service was great, and the food was not only beautiful but also abundant and reasonably priced. They were very welcoming to our three young daughters. We had a wonderful experience! This place is so bad it's comical. Never have I encountered such a rude, aggressive barman. Best avoid unless you're a script writer looking for an idea for a sitcom View all feedback.
A real gem of a pub. a roaring fire, warm welcome and great beer and eat. so beautiful to find a really characterful rural pub. make them the best of it there are not many like this left.
So guiet, great local beers good food. Event room at rear that is just right for smaller to medium gatherings we normally have 20 30.
