Best sea food in Setubal . Evdn in lisbon i didn't find this taste . I ordered choco frito and shrimps and clams , it was delicious . We enjoyed also free starter sea food soup and Moscatel de Setubal (famous wine) it was nice . We had great service by waitress Raquel luis , she was friendly .

Delicious food. I highly recommend to try the Brazilian dessert made of egg yolk and coconut. My best regards to the young waitress in glasses. Lovely and polite lady.

After reading the great reviews we were really looking forward eating here and, as they were part of the local sardine week promotion, having those. Alas, though we arrived only a few hours after they opened and they only had about 10 diners then, they were out of sardines. They were also out of the several white wines from Setubal that were listed on the menu. We did receive cups of a delicious spicy cream of seafood soup gratis. It was a nice gesture. We split a plate of choco frito and one of fried bacalhau. The former came with a nicely dressed salad, the later with very good fried potatoes and grilled veggies. The mains while good were in no way exceptional and coupled with the lack of available menu items we wanted I would say this is an average restaurant for the area.

We had a 9pm reservation, and from the start of our meal to the end it was rushed. The food was good but it was like a race to get us through the meal, where each course was rushed still and pretended no English in perfect English AND using Google translate we were sold a bottle of wine instead of a glass (turns out back of house staff spoke English). My wife has anxiety and we bowed to overbearing pressure from them as foreign Canadians that they felt didn't know ANY Portuguese. Then we barely had finished and were being rushed out of the restaurant to close, and not even offered dessert menu. Funny the next door restaurant(s) was closing at same time but patrons were not rushed out. While walking down the same street of restaurants, many other restaurants were also not kicking patrons out despite relating they were closed for dessert and one was kind enough to let us stop to get our gps while on their patio. They need to stop taking 9p reservations Suggest going next door(s) to one of the many options. Pretty abysmal that is we were one of their only two tables at a long line of honest restaurants on the street but others whom were far kinder for even non customer! -signed a so called fast paced globe trotting North American who loves dessert.
