"The venue is spacious and has a lovely atmosphere. The chips are perfectly crispy. The jackfruit wrap was a little too rich for my taste, but overall, the food fits the classic pub grub style. I appreciate the respectable selection of vegan options available, especially in such a scenic location, and the clear signage about vegan meal times (photos included). It’s reassuring to know that the kitchen double-checked to confirm the coleslaw was vegan. I enjoy my meals more when I see that the restaurant genuinely cares about these details. Overall, a great experience!".
What Anonym dislikes about The Knights Table:
My partner recently visited Ritter Table and discovered they’ve added vegan options, so he took me there for lunch. I ordered the falafel platter with skin-on fries and a salad. The portion was generous, and while it could have used a bit more salt on the sandwich, I really enjoyed it. Last week, my partner had the sweet potato and spinach curry with rice and poppadums, which he said was excellent. We definitely need... View all feedback.

We love The Knights Table, usually do lunch, but yesterday went for Sunday roast at 4.30pm. The meal was fantastic, the beef was absolutely amazing, prefer my own yorkshire puds, but I have a tiny appetite, absolutely loved the cauliflower, carrots, broccoli red cabbage, mashed potato and roast potatoes, my husband finished what I couldn't eat. That Beef was honestly the nicest I've eaten in years. Great restaurant, views, and different areas to suit everyone. We really enjoyed. Thank you it was a nice way to end my 61st birthday.
Great place, feels like everything is home made and the place is decorated in a contemporary style. I had the Sunday pork roast best cooked pork I ever had. Lemon cheesecake is to die for. You will not regret eating here.
Wouldn't know it from the car park but banging food for a good price. Fantastic lemon cheesecake and good pork roast, crackling was cooked to perfection though would've like the pork cooked slightly less but still great stuff. Would recommend and it has a fantastic view.
The restaurent is in a lovely setting and it was easy to park. Inside was bright, clean and tidy. We were greeted immediately by a lovely lady. We were seated promptly and menus provided swiftly. The cocktails looked and tasted delicious. The food was plentiful and extremely tasty. I had a true pie… We were too full for pudding. I’d definitely go back. Highly recommended.

The menu offers a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. We enjoyed the best vegan meal we've had in the Yorkshire Dales. I highly recommend the Sri Lankan Parippu Curry, and they also have a delightful Vegan Sundae.
My husband visits The Knight Table whilst out cycling and spotted they had added vegan options, so took me for lunch. I ordered the falafel wrap with skin on fries and salad, which was a good sized portion, it needed a bit of salt on the sandwich, but I really enjoyed it. My husband the previous week had the sweet potato spinach curry with rice poppadums and said it was excellent. We need more places like The Knights Table offering vegan options, as when out and about it makes it easier to dine out. Updated from previous review on 2018-06-27
Generous portion. Nice home cut chippies. Jackfruit wrap was a bit rich and samey but a good pub grub style feed for sure. A respectable effort of vegan options for a countryside spot and super clear direction on vegan meals (see pics) Also accommodating, checked with kitchen to ensure coleslaw was vegan. Always enjoy my meal more when I know they care. Oh and the views.. wow!
The portion sizes are generous, and the house-cut chips are quite nice. The Jackfruit Wrap was a bit on the rich side, but overall it provides a solid pub-style meal. Given its rural location, I was impressed by the range of vegan options available and the clear information provided about them (as seen in the pictures). The staff also confirmed with the kitchen that the coleslaw was vegan, which I really appreciated. I enjoy my meals even more when I feel that the restaurant genuinely cares about my dietary preferences. And let's not forget the lovely view!
