Brilliant staff and excellent breakfast plus evening meals Rooms: Fantastic and clean rooms! Nice and roomy! Nearby activities: Loads of beautiful people and scenery! A must. See the waterfalls Safety: Everything is nicely laid out and signed very well! Walkability: Loads of walk space! Clear corridors. Also Train Station across the road. Thumbs up for me Food drinks: The food was amazing! Drink take your pick! I 'm sure the staff will accommodate you Noteworthy details: The location! The scenery! The amazing staff and humour! Doesn 't matter about the weather its all part of the Yorkshire Dale 's. All of Yorkshire is a beautiful county

We have previously visited The Crav... read more 2 x couples with 3 dogs in total. Decided on a single night stay between Christmas and New Year and we were no disappointed. We have previously visited The Craven Arms as we stay in Settle a few times during the year. We arrived at lunch time on Wednesday had lunch (a hot sandwich and bowl of chunky chips) went out for the day and back for tea. Various meals had in the party. Turned in late and a very comfy bed and pillows awaited us. Morning breakfast with lots of choice from buffet to hot selection. This was a very welcomed break and we can not fault any part of the stay. All areas very clean and owners and all staff very welcoming, friendly and offered good services. Definitely worth a return visit at some point. Rooms: We had rooms 7 and 8. both spacious, clean, warm and both having a very comfy bed. One viewed out the front one out the back. Fully equipped shower room.

This was our plac... read more Cannot rate the rooms as we only visited for lunch but would expect the standard would be as good as our experience in the restaurant and bar. This was our place of choice for a family meetup, we were impressed last time and were not disappointed this time. Service is very friendly, making us feel very welcome. The menu has a good selection, with the Christmas menu now available. We now consider this as our first choice in the Settle area.

We began with drinks at the ba... read more We reserved a table at the Craven Arms to celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday and it was amazing from the moment we arrived. We began with drinks at the bar where the staff were very friendly, and then we were seated in the dining room. The starters, mains, and desserts were all served perfectly - hot and delicious. Despite having a group of 15 people and other large parties, the food was fantastic. We can't wait to dine here again next time we visit Giggleswick.

T... read more The rooms were clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after long walks in the beautiful surroundings. The staff were excellent, very friendly and polite. The food was fantastic - I had a burger the first night and steak the second, both delicious. The highlight was the full Yorkshire breakfast, which was amazing after completing the 3 peaks challenge.
