I've visited this restaurant three weeks in a row. In the first week, I went with my husband and my mother. The following week, it was just my husband, my mother, our youngest son, and his friend. This week, I brought along my nephews, my mother, and all three of my children. Our little group keeps growing each week! What a fantastic pub this was! Thwaites Original on tap is always a winner, and the beer was exceptionally well-kept. We also enjoyed a meal, and both the fish and chips and the sampli and chips were excellent. Plus, the homemade chips were a great touch! Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!
Was coming for 3 years and last year was the first time to meet paul and carol the renter and dame. they are beautiful and they made us feel very welcome, found time to talk to us about all kinds of things, as we rent the house next to the pub, eating is simply beautiful, it is cooked to perfection and always plentiful on the teller. we arrived on Friday and the pub was the first point of departure....and the food and service was fantastic x
