We only had tea and coffee in this café but I must mention it as it is such a nice location with a sheltered terrace overlooking the Royal Canal in the centre of this picturesque town. It is above the level of the canal and so you have a nice vantage point, and it's a good place to shelter either from the rain or the sun it's not completely closed in). I think the waitress should have asked me what sort of tea I wanted, but it was fine in the end. The food is mainly plates of ham, cheese, tapenade etc. We didn't order any.
We stopped by in the afternoon for coffee on the outside enclosed patio with a nice view of the canal. The outdoor heaters were appreciated, as it was a chilly and damp late November day. It was quieter sitting there and the indoor seating was very full. The service was good. Someone was smoking on the other side of the patio away from us so we weren't bother by it. The cappuccino was very good, and the crepes were excellent!
A nice covered terrace to enjoy view on the canal. Friendly and professional staff. We did not try the food but look interesting and tasty from what i could see on other tables
It was great for morning coffee. Even though mornings are quite sleepy, this corner was beautifully noisy and cozy, just by the Canal and with the road ahead :
