Le Grilladin Cettois - Sète

We have spent 10 summers in the Sète area and tried out a number of restaurants. We discovered this place a few weeks ago and were pleasantly surprised. You can find a lot of seafood and also meat scewers. Freshly grilled on command. Can strongly recommend. Fresh food and very cheap also. Please be there before 19:30 in summer otherwise you will need to wait for a table.

Very casual outdoor restaurant with specialty spears of meat, seafood from 2 € and upwards. One can also get real dishes it's not the great gastronomic experience, but okay,

We came across this restaurant while strolling round the port in Sete. It looked like the type of place we liked. Plastic chairs, wine in carafes and a small menu of fish with basic side dishes if you want them (salad or chips . We weren't disappointed! We ordered the rose which was lovely and a total bargain at 6 euros for half a litre (so we had two... . We ordered the grilled sieche (octopus , st jaques (scallops , Gambas (big prawns , spicy sausage and a salad. All were beautifully cooked. Sat outside and watched the world go by while grazing through the delicious food and wine. If you are in Sete then GO!

Great value, fantastic fish. We come to sete every year and keep on coming back to this place. It's our favourite restaurant in sete and the Thon a la plancha is amazing!
