Try the cafe gou... read more After a tour on the nice lido promenade we found this nice cafe. The food was very delicious and well prepared. Fish dishes and Moule frittes . Try the cafe gourmand instead of desert , and you get a variety of deserts. Nice outdoor servings. It is recommended to reserve a table during seasons

My only and only complaint would be the espresso, too strong and too burned but that could not ruin our experience!

We have written reviews and recommended it to many f... read more My hubby and I have eaten often at this beach cafe/restaurant over the past 6 years. It was really great!!! We have written reviews and recommended it to many friends. Unfortunately it is now nowhere near as good as it was. It seems to have changed owners. The standard menu has gone, just a tiny little blackboard now. We had just 6 or 7 choices for Saturday lunch!! We went for the Nemo salad as our favorite Niçois salad no longer seems to exist. It was very disappointing. €15.50 for a small bowl of salad, mainly lettuce, with 4 small pieces of salmon and 5 prawns. House wine was not as nice as it’s always been, service erratic with two people serving us but neither seemed to know whether we had ordered or not...the chairs were a hitch porch of colours and styles rather than the smart comfortable “director” style chairs of previous years. Sadly we won’t be going back.
