We came here for lunch and the 3 course set meal was fabulous, as well it was really good value (22 euros for one person for starter, main course and dessert). The sardine bruschetta and the lamb shank were the highlights. As well the waitstaff were efficient and very professional.

Setcases is a nice small town at the pyrenees from where you can visit Beget or have nice walks higher up to the mountains. Whatever your choices are it is always convenient to find a good restaurant to eat close by. Can Jepet is the right choice with many options of Catalan or local dishes, with seasonal options.

After a nice walk at Vallter 2000, we ran by coincidence into Can Jepet. And we were not disappointed. Lovely fresh local food! Very busy most of them locals/spanish. Always a good sign. So if you're looking for good meal go towards Can Jepet. Expect busy so reserve if you can.

On a trip across Spain on the way from Madrid to France we had lunch at this restaurant in a pretty mountain village. The restaurant has a nice bourgeoise atmosphere, clean, spatious, little of grandma air, very pleasant accueil by the beautiful wife of the owner who is the chef. The menu amazingly rich and attractive, service prompt and helpful. Local produce beautifully presented and tasty. As entree I had grilled vegetables in a basket of pastry, very good. As main course grilled leg of kid, excellent on ardoise with a baked potatoe and grilled artichauts. My husband had a excellent local fish , truite ,as main, don 't remember his entree. Lovely desserts, fresh cheese (local) and honey for my husband and a crêpe with homemade berry ice cream and chocolate sauce for me. Coffee for him, green tea for me. I think this is a restaurant worth making a stop for in this very beautiful natural setting , mountains and green pastures. Try it. Personally, after quite a lot of average food in Spain, I found this refreshing. Worth the price and the detour.
