A quite restaurant in an unlikely location. But I assure you that the food is excellent. There weren't many people in on the night we went and I think we were the only tourists. The home made pasta was perfect. I had ravioli with potato and nettles and my wife has a ancient recipe special tortellini which was also superb, but it was the steak that was remarkable, not that it was perfectly cooked, but the raw material was superb. Also charming ambience and friendly service.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hosts at Il Mulino di Valle, as it is about a 10 minute walk from the Mill. Jess made reservations for us, and the restaurant didn't disappoint. Our server didn't speak much English, and my Italian is not great, yet between the three of us we were able to get through, and relied on her recommendations of locale specialties to try, that did not disappoint.

I'm very fortunate in knowing the owners of a local B'n'B, and they had asked the chef to prepare something unique for us. All we had to do was show up, they then showed us to our seats, and started to bring out food and wine. The course was all off menu, and the wines had been pre-selected. The dishes were incredible to say the least! I'm not a poet, or true foodie, so I'm not going to try and explain the experience I had there, because it will only pale in comparison to my actual memory. All I can say is go. This place is very popular for a reason. It is one of top 3 places I have eaten at. Give it a go. You won't regret it!

This castle converted restaurant is a real treat! Food was amazing, we stayed only three nights in Serramazzoni but had to attend this restaurant twice so we could try something new on the menu! Sabrina was our host/server and was wonderful. She knew all about the items on the menu, was wonderful to get to know and helped make this place one of our favorite restaurants! We also met the owner, who showed us some very old book that spoke about the history of this restaurant, something that goes back centuries!

The Restaurant which is placed a little outside between Serramazzoni and Valle and is not that easy to get to. But it is possible as long as you do not take the curves too fast : . We arrived in the dark and went right inside. The restaurant, run by a family, is inside an old castle. Classical arrival, nice welcome, people worked there welcome us and guided us to the table. The food is typical Italian. Awesome homemade tortellini co. Good cheese. Everything fresh and homemade. The mother of the guy who served us watches everything and takes care of the quality. We had a regional Lambrusco which was good. Notes: Reservations by mail: usually don't work because there is hardly no signal No use of mobile phones: no signal focus on the food. In the summer it is even nicer than in winter because of the gorgeous outside area. Dinner for 2: Bottle water Bottle wine Starters Pasta Dessert 55 Euros good Deal!
