Dinner with a group of friends turn in to a nightmare. We started at 8pm and waited 1:50 for the main dish.

An unassuming facade made me think this was a regular restaurant but when my friend and I entered, I couldn’t help but admire the wine cellar and the spaciousness of the place. The friendliness and helpful attitude of our server was great and so was the meal itself. From the starters to the main entrees of secretos do porco com migas esparguete and porco mistura com cogumelos to the dessert, everything was just perfect. Definitely worth going there again. And again.

Really superb restaurant recommended to us by the local winery monte da ravasquiera. Make sure you book as it was full and lots of people were turned own at the door. We had the arroz de tamboril which was the best. We just started with the many petiscos they offered at the table as they looked so good including the porco preto, quiejo grelhado, fava beans in vinagrette and assorted others. They were not the usual offerings like other restaurants. We will return to this one one for sure!

Superb choice of real Alentejo dishes, tasteful and of moderate prices. Very large wine list. Very friendly staff.
