When you come, the chef comes out and asks right away if you have any dietary restrictions. When we said we were vegan, he was very knowledgeable about veganism and explained what menu items were vegan and what could be made vegan. We had a couple of appetizers- mushrooms with vegan cheese and zucchini with little spreads in the inside and a curry for a main dish. The curry was quite possibly the best I've ever had.... What User dislikes about Momentos:
With only two tables of the 1st floor occupied the owner denied us service, they claim to have 32 seated places in another room. It was a very rude and unprofessional attttitude. View all feedback.

We had a couple of appetizers- mushrooms with vegan cheese and zucchini with little spreads in the inside and a curry for a main dish. The curry was quite possibly the best I've ever had. He also custom made a vegan cheese board for dessert for us. He came out a lot to chat with us and see if we liked the dishes. We also split a nice local bottle of wine.
Un lieu à priori simple mais une fois à l'intérieur une arrière salle intimiste. Un accueil chaleureux en portugais et anglais. Un Chef à l écoute qui parle Français et nous explique sa carte et nous concocte 2 plats vegan faits de légumes frais d épices et de saveurs multiples. Tout ça avec une mozza vegane à base d amandes. Dégustation d olives et huile d olive Un délice
We accidentally stumbled across Momentos and are so happy that we did. The owner and wait staff were very friendly and were extremely accommodating when we told them that we were vegetarian. People arrived soon after us with gluten free/Lactose free requirements and the wait staff/owner were happy to accommodate for them too! The food is locally sourced and super fresh. The plates are unique and amazing with an emphasis on local and fresh vegetables. The olive oil is beyond this world sourced from local olive trees that are over 1000 years old (super delicious). My mum really enjoyed her Nesperas soup (a fruit soup made with local Portuguese fruit). The plant based favour combinations are different but executed well. Would definitely go again.
