Fresh local produce and generous... read more Beautiful medieval setting in the indoor area and amazing views from the outdoor area. The food is up to par with the setting. Fresh local produce and generous portions make up for tasty and attractive dishes. The mozzarella is of top quality, served with a thick cut delicately smoked delicious local prosciutto. The pasta with porcini was boosted to a superior level with the addition of truffle cream (crema di tartuffo), but was not as piping hot as the tagliatelle with zucchini flowers. The latter were delicately tasty and deliciously creamy (mantecati). Kudos also for the hospitality and the quality of the service. It must be also a very pleasant place for a winter lunch or dinner, with its vaulted grotto like stone ceilings and beautiful fireplace.

We met the owner, V... read more I don’t know what’s better, the food or the spectacular terrace with views on the surrounding hills and mountains, and the Sermoneta castle. We met the owner, Vincenzo, a die-hard foodie and chef obsessed with the quality of ingredients. Try the Pietanza Bonifacio VII, never tasted anything like it. Homemade desserts mmmmmm. La terrazza panoramica è spettacolare, sembra di avere una casa terrazza con casualmente un ristorante annesso. Vincenzo è una persona notevole, con un bagaglio culturale su cibo e ingredienti mai visto. La Pietanza Bonifacio VII era saporitissima e però stranamente bilanciata. I dolci fatti in casa erano perfetti. Straconsigliabile.
