We stayed in Padma, so we visited the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. In breakfast the quality and variety of food was excellent. 3-4 different buffet with different options from meat to pasta to eggs to desserts. One of the best breakfast I saw in a hotel. What User doesn't like about The Puhu Lounge:
Five stars for breakfast spread and service. Three stars for dinner. A few nights we had good service, other nights service was decent, and service was no where to be found on our last night. More importantly, the food and beverages were prepared inconsistently. One dish was outstanding on one night and a total flop the following night. We visited twice and the restaurant held its review — 1. Visit Had dinner here and ordered dinner a la carte menu. The food price is high, expected for this type of operation, but it is worth it. Good flavors, big portions. My group had only net and was on the record. Service is excellent. Appetizers at ~100 k Mains at ~200 k Desserts at ~50 k — 2. Visiting portions and quality remains the same.

Loved the Puhu Restaurant and the Ubud Resort Restaurant staff were all absolutely amazing. This certainly value added to the memorable experience of our fantastic holiday in Bali. They had a very wide range of culinary delights on offer and of course with breakfast was inclusive in the price for us. Each morning we were continually delighted at the range of foods on offer, including the more traditional Balinese foods, which were all incredibly amazing and very tasty. The Chef introduced himself to us and we were delighted to hear he was well travelled throughout the world. We had dinner one night as our wedding ‘special night’ and the food was absolutely fantastic! An Indonesian cook is also available to cook your soup, Indonesian stir fry breakfast, or even your eggs exactly the way you like them! Our sensational ‘special dinner’ and all the meals we experienced in the Puhu Restaurant were absolutely faultless. They also had two Balinese style musicians during each breakfast time which kept us entertained. The Ubud Resort staff were all very friendly and helpful and the language barrier never really seemed to exist, as most staff spoke pretty good broken English. by Andrew Jenny
