Mateo Kitchen Catering
Description
A neighborhood find serving Filipino-American comfort with standout dumplings, ramen, Korean BBQ and tasty boba. Friendly staff, attractive decor and speedy takeout/delivery earn praise, and many dishes capture authentic flavors. However, experiences vary: portions can be small, prices high, and occasional quality issues and surprising upcharges have been reported. Expect a casual counter-order spot ideal for takeout rather than a formal sit-down meal.

The food here is amazing, the service was superior and everyone was so nice! I got the shin ramen and a side of dumplings. The dumplings where the best I've ever had!Food: 5/5
The food is ok. Just ok. Its pricey heres a situation and a little math. I asked for an over easy egg and was charged $2 for it! As of right now the average cost of a dozen eggs is $2.88 meaning .24 cents per egg. That's a mark up of over 800%! That's criminal I don't care about paying someone to cook something but that much of a mark up?! They won't get anymore of my money.
Stopped in with my daughter for lunch on the way back home from Sioux City. My daughter had the pork bbq and I had the pork belly. Both dishes were equally delicious and filling. Will definitely be back.
The barbequed pork served with garlic rice was incredible. Even the vegetables were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Although there is seating available, it’s not your typical sit-down restaurant; you place your order and pay at the counter. The portion sizes are just right, so you can comfortably order an appetizer without the pressure of finishing your main dish. Note: They still require masks for some reason. Service: Dine-in only.
