Originally, it started off as a place for drinks and coffee, and then began hosting pop-up restaurants. They also sell cakes twice a month at marcheat.net in Hyehwa and Myeongdong. Due to cooking classes taught by Yunseo, the café now has limited hours and requires appointments for a culinary experience. The menu can be found on their Facebook page @ppuriontheplate. The owner, Yunseo, focuses on macrobiotic nutrition for health reasons and has previously taught cooking classes in the USA and written a recipe book. Their cakes and cookies are made with brown rice flour, and the coffee is made from roasted grains, making it light and suitable for those who are sensitive to caffeine. Overall, everything is delicious and I recommend checking their Facebook page for the monthly menu changes.

The lovely lady who served us made us a delicious tofu dish with salads and apricot bread. The prepared dishes were perfect. The parfait and affogato were also delicious, especially the ice cream in the affogato. The second time we visited, we were able to try all the cakes and they were all delicious.

We came here twice: once at the end of the day, when all the cakes were sold out the beautiful lady servings made us a from menu Frittata Art dish from chickpeas and tofu, with salads and apricot bread. Parfait and affogato are also delicious! especially the ice cream in affogato. Second time we came early enough for cakes and had a selection all were delicious and perfect in texture.
