Contribute FeedbackLovely unpretentious fish restaurant in up and coming Matosinhos. We shared sea fresh clams in a garlicky broth (sharing is the Portuguese way, they said) with very good bread. Then a platter of fresh charcoal grilled sardines with some traditional boiled and salted potatoes smothered in garlic, oil and butter. Incredible. My hair still smells of charcoal.... A lovely bottle of vino verde too. Home made puddings creme brûlée was outstanding. Take the A line metro from Porto to Brito Capelo and head towards the sea, you know you want to.
Excellent sea bass cooked in salt. We were a little skeptical but the result was not salty. You pay by the kg. So we got one for all 3. Great service. Was nervous when we arrived for7:30 reservation but the restaurant filled up with local diners. Not a tourist area. Would return every time.
