The perfect local restaurant to spend our last day in Porto. Homemade plates of fish and meat served with rice and potatoes, with a lovely side salad. Go for the plate of croquettes to start! Family of four, 1/2 litre of wine, started and main for €32. Amazing. Oh take cash. The machine probably won’t accept your none Portuguese card.

Eating is amazing and it is the best restaurant. a perfect service. it is 20 minutes walk from the metro station matosinhos sul. a must!

We enjoyed a full dining experience in Casa Acoreana. Excellent food and comfortable atmosphere. Our waitress, was extremely attentive and helpful (the menu is normally printed in Portuguese, but on this evening, food presentation was necessary – it was very nice and innovative presentation )....The local food was delicious, the best we've tasted in Porto region. Cook was very creative in using seasonal items in his dish, not overwhelming but with subtle tastes. The waitress also recommended an excellent Portugal red wine which paired well. It is very reasonably priced, considering the quality of everything. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and cosy. We found this venue through recommendation Mrs. Celeste, professor of French, from Matosinhos. The service was friendly. We had a lovely evening and would highly recommend this restaurant. Whenever you are in Porto area you must visit this hidden gem!

Delicious food, friendly service, cozy atmosphere. Suitable for dinner with friends or a personal pendants. Very friendly and nice staff.
