I have been to Cook Out in Selma many times, but I have never encountered such rudeness before. I often feel rushed during my visits. When I arrived at the window to pay and pick up my food, I tried to get the staff's attention several times, but I was completely ignored. I had requested honey mustard at the speaker, but when I got to the window, the employee handed me the sauce and slammed the window shut. Lately, the service has been consistently poor, and at times, I have even been yelled at. Whenever I voice a complaint, the situation seems to worsen. I guess it's time for me to find another place to eat. They definitely need better training.
Man I hadn’t been to cookout since 2014. Back when the cookout trays were still $5.49 and the food was always cooked fresh. Just went to this location in Selma, NC on a nostalgic food run with my wife. Let me just say it was an utter disappointment. We paid $21 for 2 double burger trays. 1 burger was fixed completely wrong and got only 5 hush puppies which wasn’t enough to fill the small bag the put them in. On the other tray I got Cajun fries but when I opened the box there was barely any seasoning and they were cold. If this is what I should expect from Cook Out now it’ll probably be another 10 years before I think about trying it again.
