What Not4meagain doesn't like about Rhubarb:
This café does not accommodate solo diners. I noticed a table for two, but was told it was reserved. I was offered a table for six, but was informed that I could only have it for less than an hour. By the time I would have decided on my order and waited to be served, this limited time frame would not have been sufficient. There was no acknowledgment of the fact that I had traveled there and used petrol to get there.... View all feedback.
What a treasure trove of lovely food, a nice location and the staff are amazing. Went for a random lunch with my mum and dog, it was lovely. The food was well presented and they are more than happy to tweek the food if you want. The price is reasonable, we will definitely go again.
Wonderful little tea room. Does afternoon teas(ahead booking) or normal menu and special boards. Locally sourced produce. Was busy when we got there at 12pm Sat. Staff were very friendly and helful and quick to to take order. I got the rhubarb winter slate. Little bacon and brie toastie, red pepper soup, black pudding pork pie, Cornish pasty and salad garnish. Very nice! And my partner had cheese and chutney sandwich with garnish. Both had a pot of tea for 2 and a slice of cake each. Lots of cake to pick from too. Will be going back! Want to try the afternoon tea.
