Met a friend for coffee here. Wasn't expecting much during these times of covid, but it was a delight. Sat outside under an umbrella big enough to keep off a shower. Excellent coffee served by a very friendly young student waitress. Delightful people and a lovely little dog. Will be back.
Have been to the lovely little garden centre before (which I also recommend) but first time eating at the cafe. The homemade leek and potato soup and cheese scone (with chutney and butter) were delicious, with an assortment of tasty fruit teas to choose from too. Such friendly and welcoming staff, excellent customer service. Decided to take some slices of millionaires shortbread back for my daughter (one of her favourite cakes) and they were yummy, just the right balance of shortbread, caramel and chocolate. Thank you to the lovely ladies running this lovely little cafe. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend tucked away but worth finding!
Not to be missed! A small hidden gem attached to a garden centre. Excellent coffee, super sandwich well presented, quaint surroundings and excellent friendly service. Shame we don't often pass this way but you happen to....then you won't be disappointed. Just in case you are in doubt....it's great!
Passing though Cawood on our two week family vacation through the UK and had this nursery/cafe recommended to us. Seriously one of the best scones I had in my entire two week vacation!! The owners were so lovely to meet and talk to as well. The homemade soup and my introduction to Yorkshire tea was divine. Thank you!
Superb. Could not have been more helpful, willingly made a plain ham salad which was not on the menu. And my lasagne was to die for; crispy and cheesy, all a man could ask. Recommended, the descriptions of this being a little gem are bang on. Little nursery as well. Sit and eat, have a cuppa, and look into the plant area at the same time. Will be back.
