service excellent. presentation of eating beautiful. starter excellent. main course good (we had fishcake) but rather bland. would have liked to have chips and a little salat, but can only choose one or the other. also needed more sauce. ambiente very nice. wine tasty but expensive. We were first timers to the pheasant inn and was really looking forward to it as it looked lovely and the menu was really good,we were told there was no mash which was a part of both our meals only to be replaced with a small cube of dauphinois potatoes,the meals were very underwhelming,then our desserts came out cold which were replaced with two more which were barely luke warm,the staff never once tended to us to a...
