The staff is always f... read more Once again, "The Dolphin" exceeded our expectations. During our visit to Southport, we always make sure to stop by our favorite chip shop. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, even assisting elderly customers who may need a helping hand. The fish and chips were absolutely perfect - the fish was tender and the batter was crispy without being soggy. Our meal deal, which included a drink, was a great value. While we usually opt for the senior meal offer, we decided to try something different this time and we were not disappointed. The steak pie and apple pie were also delicious. Thank you to everyone at "The Dolphin" for a wonderful lunch experience - we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Southport!

The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially with our 16 month old grandson. We will certainly be recommending and re-visiting when in Southport.

Had some nice desserts but were full from the chips and we'd planned a chippy crawl that day so wanted to get a few places in. Would definitely recommend it as I love a sit down chippy!
