Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the car park, which is managed by a third party with steep charges. I had previously received a parking fine from a similar setup so I was cautious this time. Customers are required to check in and register their car details on a tablet, with a maximum of two hours of free parking. After already having a meal at a carvery in Bridgwater, I opted for something light while my cousins ordered their food. My chicken Caesar salad was a bit on the dry side, but the dessert made up for it. Overall, I would consider dining here again if I am in the area, although that depends on my budget. Coming all the way from Melbourne, Somerset seems quite far away.

The food was excellent, especially the salad and crumble from the set lunch menu. The service was friendly and helpful. Thank you to all the staff, we would love to come back when we are in the area again.

Ordered at the bar and sat down, after ten minutes I said to my partner a bid slow getting the drinks so I went to the bar to see and they had...not even started making them. I got the impression that everything was just to much effort the the staff so we walked out thirsty.

Due to my experience at other marstons pubs my expextations wer... read more I had booked this resatuarnt as it was across the road from the Premier Inn where I was staying. Due to my experience at other marstons pubs my expextations were low but this pub is amazing! We had the steak deal and the food was...perfectly cooked and excellent value. Dessert was great too. The pub was busy but service was excellent and tables well distanced. Thankfully we had booked in advance as the resturant was fully booked on a Thursday night! I would highly recommend the White Willow

I enjoy meeting friends for white wine, but recently, when I tried to order a pot of tea at the bar, I was told they were too busy and all the cups had been was... read more I enjoy meeting friends for white wine, but recently, when I tried to order a pot of tea at the bar, I was told they were too busy and all the cups had been washed, so I couldn't have one. This happened twice and I was completely shocked. I have never experienced anything like this before - being denied a pot of tea. All I can say is good luck to anyone who wants tea when they are short-staffed.
