We were in need of a good coffee and a quick breakfast before hitting the road. The man who served us was lovely and even recommended the Porlock Rollstraße, which turned out to be the most beautiful road we have ever traveled on! The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were fantastic as well.
We decided to stop for coffee and a snack before visiting Coleridge Cottage. The tearoom had a unique ambiance, with some intriguing old photos displayed. The coffee was excellent and we enjoyed our freshly baked goods. The service was great and the prices were reasonable.
We thought the caffe would be closed in the february, but the owners also lead the load and post office on the same spatialities. there was a good selection of cakes and snacks – try the chocolate breweries! service was friendly so we ordered a few sandwiches. for the next day too foot and they were also quite good when we sat on the Quantocks cool.
We stopped by this restaurant for breakfast while staying at the historic house in the village. They offer a great variety of meals and coffee at a reasonable price and of good quality. We regret not visiting more often during our time in this lovely and welcoming village.

He'd been to the Quantock Tea Room before and liked it so we went there and I had the best pot of tea that I've had in ages. He had a white coffee and a pastry and we sat chatting for half an hour or so. We were the only people there. I'll definitely return here the next time I'm in the area.
