While some patrons have encountered service hiccups and underwhelming portions, many rave about the quality and flavor of the food, particularly the soups and sandwiches. The sunny terrace provides a pleasant dining experience, although accessibility for casual coffee seekers can be inconsistent. Despite minor service delays, the dedicated staff strive to maintain a warm ambiance, making this spot a beloved local gem for regulars and newcomers alike.
I haven't discovered this Jewel long. it is very simply perfect in every sight and I look forward to my weekly visits for demanding private therapy in locality. a large selection of homemade cakes, hearty dishes salads as well as a considerable number of specialized pickles, relishes, cookies, cheese, chocolates. the list is endless. what a wonderful sound. what a delicious! first great!
I visited the restaurant yesterday with my grandson because his school was closed for a strike. The parsnip and apple soup was delicious, as well as the pate and bread. My grandson enjoyed his cheese and ham sandwich, but he only ate the crisps and left the salad. Do any 5-year-old boys actually eat salad?
Have become regulars at this excellent local cafe. The homemade soup is particularly good, but everything we have tried has been tasty and imaginative. The coffee is great as are the smoothies. Whilst the staff are sometimes stretched because they get very busy, you can always see they are working hard and always apologise for any delays.
Good location and sunny terrace although my first welcome was you can’t leave your bike there rather than would you mind leaving your bike over there….. Coffee was a 5/10 and didn’t really have a lot of flavour. Then charged an extra 15p to use a card rather than cash …..I was told most people use cash now! A memorable experience for the wrong reasons…..
Don't bother, so expensive two paninis and a pot of tea for two £24..........!!!!!!!!!. Such along wait too, not busy time !
